Any organization using information systems needs system software maintenance and support. Most of the major software producers offer technical support and application maintenance contracts only for their applications and systems. So do we. We offer support and application maintenance services contracts for our products, but not only. Our goal is to fill in the gap and provide system maintenance and support for our clients in the areas that are not covered by the original software producers.
Also we can provide our clients with some additional services that enhance existing systems. The key areas that we will be happy to help you with are:
If possible we will develop additional custom build components to enhance the features offered by original developer.
Sometimes the existing set of features is not enough. We can develop custom modules for existing software that will enable new features and increase user productivity. To do so we will use either available SDK or develop software modules from scratch.
We recognize the importance of computer maintenance because neglecting to do so reduces the lifespan and affects computer performance. Poor system maintenance also leads to hardware malfunctions that often are mistaken for software bugs or defects. Just one example: a dust covering heat sink can lead to slow CPU overheating, which happens in minutes from the moment of computer powering. The CPU internal thermal protection initiates emergency shutdown without user warning. Often, users think it is a software bug rather than a hardware problem. Another reason for hardware maintenance is that the system components wear down, which shortens its lifespan, and increases purchasing costs.
Another important service that we offer is hardware upgrades. Today’s hardware market is very competitive and prices are low. Still, in many cases, users don’t realize that what they actually need is a small upgrade at the small cost to compare with new computer or equipment purchase. You don’t have to buy a new computer every year to be able to run your software. Sometimes just increasing your memory or replacing the CPU will do. We apply the same philosophy to more expensive hardware such as servers. They are more expensive than workstations and upgrading, rather than purchasing new ones, in many cases is very justified.
An investment in information systems must realize a return just as any other investment is expected to do.
Incidents of floods, earthquakes and hurricanes are examples of disasters that can seriously compromise the availability of accounting information. Additional disasters include fire, employee sabotage, computer viruses, physical damage and theft.
